Our most romantic room features a Queen sized wrought iron canopy bed, with curtains to envelope you as you sleep. Fireplace, Loveseat and a table for 2, make this room great for the couple wanting to get away from it all.

This room is named after one of America's famous poets, John Greenleaf Whittier who stayed at the Inn in 1891 while vacationing in the area. This room features a King-sized Shaker Canopy bed covered by a down comforter and hand-made quilt. There is also a full-sized pull-out sofa. Sleeps 2-4

Policies:

Cancellation Policy
Cancellations need to be made 14 days in advance for confirmed reservations. A $20 cancellation charge will be taken out of the deposit and the remainder will be refunded to you. No shows or less than the above notices will result in loss of deposit.

Smoking Policy
The Wakefield Inn is a NON-SMOKING inn.  Any smoking in rooms will result in a charge of $250, this is to cover the cost of cleaning the room to remove the smell.  We appreciate your cooperation, and have a designated smoking area on the side of the front deck.

Children
We welcome all well-behaved, supervised children to our Inn.  We do not have baby-sitting services on sit, please do not leave children unattended. 

Green Inn
We are a member of the New Hampshire Sustainable Lodging Association, and are reducing our carbon footprint on Mother Earth.  Please assist us in our efforts by turning of lights and closing windows when you leave the room.

Deposit
We require a deposit upon reservation equal to the one night's stay.  You will get a confirmation via email after we receive the reservation request, and you will have a guaranteed reservation.

Reservations:
We accept MasterCard, Visa, Discover, American Express, personal checks and cash. Room rates are double occupancy, additional people are $25 each.
